Tropical plants fieldwork training in Belize by RBGE – Deadline 10 Oct

Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is offering a field based plant survey and identification course in Belize, Central America entitled “Fieldwork skills in the tropics: vegetation surveys, monitoring, and plant identification.” The course is part of the Advanced Short Training Courses by NERC, and 10 fully funded places are available. The course is aimed for PhD students and early career scientists. Priority will be given to UK based applicants, but all applicants with strong interest are encouraged to apply.

Course Dates: 6 – 21st Jan 2015 (dates may vary slightly)

The course is funded by NERC as an advanced training course, and 10 places are available for PhD students, postdocs and early career scientists. If accepted on this course, flights, accommodation, field transport and most meals will be covered
