ECSA Citizen Science Conference - 19 to 21 May 2016, Berlin

The European Citizen Science Association (ECSA) Citizen Science Conference 2016 aims at policy makers, science funders, scientists, practitioners in the field of citizen science, NGOs and interested citizens. This trans-disciplinary conference will highlight, demonstrate and debate the innovation potential of citizen science for science, society and policy and its role within open science and innovation.

£2,500 Travelling Fellowship for Biologists!

The Company of Biologists’ journals – DevelopmentJournal of Cell Science, Journal of Experimental Biology and Disease Models & Mechanisms – offer Travelling Fellowships of up to £2,500 or currency equivalent to graduate students and post-doctoral researchers wishing to make collaborative visits to other laboratories. These are designed to offset the cost of travel and other expenses. There is no restriction on nationality.

Deadline dates for applications:

  • 31 December 2015

  • 31 March 2016

  • 31 July 2016

  • 30 November 2016

Please submit your application in plenty of time as it can take up to six weeks to reach a decision from the deadline date.

SCB & ATBC Asia Meeting - 29 June to 2 July 2016 @ NUS

The Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) Asia section and the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation (ATBC) Asia-Pacific chapter are jointly organizing “Sustainable Landscapes for People, Business and Biodiversity” at the National University of Singapore for the Asia Chapter Meeting from 29 June - 2 July 2016.
